Variety: 100% Raboso del Piave.

Aged for 24 months in large oak barrels. Serving temperature 18-20°C.

Deep ruby colour with garnet tinges. On the nose a broad and full profile of wild violets with a concentrated note of morello cherry, spice box and toasted nuts. The palate is dry, attractively astringent, and full-flavoured.

Food pairing: cold meat and charcuterie, starters with meat sauce poultry, furred and feathered game, red meat, grilled meats and well-matured cheeses.

Vegetarian: meaty pulses, vegetable stews with aubergines or spicy (but not chilli) pumpkins, tasty mushrooms.
