Rich, dense reds

Rich, dense reds are filled with bags of dark, wild fruits and spice These wines reveal layer upon layer of depth and complexity. The colour varies according to the grape, and the ageing time. Normally it is a deep, inky black cherry colour, with nuances of purple for younger and red tiles for older wines.

Aromas of forest fruits, plum, dried fruit - intense and “jammy”. The long maceration is responsible for the steeped fruit notes, whereas the barrels add vanilla, chocolate, coffee. Eventually, the ageing both in barrels then in the bottle will enrich the complexity with hints of leather, particularly spices, leather and tobacco. As the wine ages, the tannins soften. The taste will be like liquid velvet, full-bodied with harmony between alcohol and acidity and the longest finish.
