Variety: Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella. Aged for 36 months in large oak barrels. Serving temperature 20°C.
Deep garnet, with rich nuances of dark port-like purple. A silky texture sheathes the subtly muscled frame in this well-dressed red, which shows integrated tannins and flavours of dried cherry, currant, tart and grilled nut, with a full range of ground spices: clove, cumin, white pepper and anise.
This wine belongs to the modern style of Amarone. Meets the tastes of those who prefer young and fruity characters, instead of the traditional style, that are more complex and full of ageing developed aromas and tastes.
Very stylish, with a long, juicy ending.
Food pairing: steak, pork, poultry, stews and casseroles, well-matured parmisan.
Vegetarian: risotto or stews preferably with Amarone sauce and well-matured cheese (parmisan).
