Premium single plot Bure Alto. Deep ruby red, with rusty hues. A unique result of refermenting Valpolicella Classico Superiore on the warm grape skins from which Amarone has been fermented.
Outstanding Ripasso della Valpolicella for the balance and the creamy mix of plumped cherry, mocha, oak spices and dried thyme notes. Lightly juicy on the chewy finish, which echoes the ripe fruit and spice character.
Food pairing: cold meat and charcuterie, poultry, red meat, grilled meat, pasta and pizza with meat sauces, stews and casseroules, hard cheeses.
Vegetarian: meaty pulses, vegetable stews with aubergines or spicy (not chilli) pumpkins, strong mushrooms.
