An exciting new kid on the block from the most ancient Raboso stable. 2009 was the 2nd harvest of DOCG Malanotte ever produced.

Very strong and dry red, with strength and austerity due to the grape variety, a gentle feminine touch because of the blending with wines coming from the appassimento and a long cask ageing.

Deep inky black cherry colour. Develops aromas of plum, cherry and Maraschino. Spicy notes of cloves, fennel and cinnamon, with undertone of mint, liquorice, and molasses. Lively acidity and long finale.

Variety: Min. 70% Raboso Piave, Max. 30% Raboso Veronese (Raboso-Marzemina Bianca cross). Min. 15-30% dried grapes.

Food pairing: juicy steaks, grilled meat, barbeque, ribs, lamb, pigeons, hard cheese.

Vegetarian: heavy vegetarian course with legumes or grains bases as stews, risottos or stews with Malanotte sauce and well-matured cheese.
