Deep garnet, with ripe cherry and plum notes mixing with hints of spice box, candied black currant and fig in this balanced wine. A throwback wine for its rustic blend of sun-dried cherry, date, spice box and tobacco flavours. Full-bodied, nice acidity, long finish.
Food pairing: roast meats, stews and casseroles, barbecue, rich lasagne. Heavy vegetarian main courses such as farfel or spaetzle with truffle.
